Layout_Floor Plan
I took a look at the storyboards and the flow of action that takes place in it and I created this floor plan to correspond to everything that's going to happen outside. Plus it'll make planning the camera shots easier and give us a better idea of what needs to be in each scene.
The orange dots represent fire hydrants.
The brown rectangle represents the garbage cans that Jane hides behind when she makes the snowball.
The entrance to the fort, the snow shovel catapult, the gatlin bicycle are all facing bobby's house so the first shot can knock phat phil straight into the garage; there's also a fence right there for the dramatic moment between Nikolai and bobby.
Since Jane has to walk past the barrage of snowballs to get to the bully's house, Its on the opposite side of the street..I couldn't remember if thats where we established it would be in the first place.

Yaw Character Revision
The colour pallet for Jane was sampled from the original ones that Paul used. Everybody else's colour pallete borrows at least one colour from Jane's. All the skin tones are exactly the same as Jane to save us some work later on if we decide on this one. Nikolai's colour are pretty much from the Russian flag. Bobby's colour pallete is somewhat millitary inspired. I tried green on him but it didn't really fit well. Since Phat Phil wont be around for long, I figured why not blue.
Let me know if there's anything you want me to change on them.

Yaw Layout concepts
Wassup guys...Here's some layout concepts I did before i left school...I've provided the line art as well in case you wanna try adding a different mood or colour pallet to it. the one with the single house is the leader's house. The top layout with the three houses from screen left to right is:
Bobby's house: Which is suppose to be straight and fairly normal looking
Phat Phil: Everything about his house is rounded and I even went as far as to make the specific clouds above his house more curvy and round.
Cross-eyed Nikolai: His house will be very narrow with really tall fences to kinda immitate how his scarf covers his face. Also, the windows of Nikolai's house will be different sizes to give it more appeal. My backstory behind that is, Nikolai's dad designed that house and he is also fairly crosseyed.

OCT-11/2011 Storyboards Critiques
· Near the end have characters close up wincing
· Pans are really lengthy
· Too much of a build up to set inside of forte
· Don’t give away bicycle right away
· Play more on staging when they come out of the garage
· Have toy representation of Nico in the war room
· Set up a rhythm of introduction of names
· Have name title for all character just like Nico and Phil
